In the summer of 2025, Dr. Reke participated as a volunteer teacher with Daraja Music Initiative in Tanzania, Africa. Daraja Music Initiative is a program that bridges music education and nature conservation. In 2025, the program celebrated its 15th anniversary.
Dr. Reke holds a private studio in Brookline, MA, USA. She organizes regular student recitals. Her students have passed with ABRSM exams Honors and Distinction, passed RCM exams with First Class Honors, participated in Rivers Orchestra program, NEC prep program, Worcester Youth Orchestra program, Brookline Youth Orchestra, Brookline High School’s (BHS) Advanced Concert Orchestra, BHS String Orchestra, and BHS Concert Orchestra, and won prizes in Bellagrande International Competition and as well as advanced to Massachusetts Junior and Senior District Orchestras.
Dr. Reke has visited her hometown, Tukums, frequently and taught free masterclasses and private lessons to local students in Latvia as well as performed recitals at local venues such as Tukums Music School, Durbe Manor, Tukums House of Culture, and Tukums Ev. Lutheran Church.
